InstallerHQ
Google & Meta

Most installer ads fail
after the click.

You can buy the perfect click — someone searching “heat pump grant” in your town, right now — and still lose them, because the page they land on cannot answer the thing they just typed into Google. We fix the landing, then we run the ads.

InstallerHQ builds and runs Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ads for UK renewable energy installers. Campaigns are pointed at a GrantCheck or SolarCheck tool on the installer’s own website rather than at a contact form, so a visitor gets an answer in about thirty seconds and the installer gets a named enquiry. We do not sell leads; every enquiry belongs to the installer alone.

The problem

The click is not the hard part.

What usually happens

“Heat pump grant” → your homepage → a contact form.

They searched a specific question and got a general page. So they go back to Google and try the next installer. You paid for that click either way.

What we set up

“Heat pump grant” → your checker → £7,500.

The ad promised an answer and the page gave one, in about thirty seconds. Then it asks for a name — which is an easy yes once someone has seen a real figure.

What we run

Two platforms, two jobs.

They are not interchangeable, and running the same campaign on both is how budgets get wasted.

01

Google — the people already looking

Search is where grant and solar intent actually shows up. Somebody typing “boiler upgrade scheme eligibility” has decided they want it and is checking whether they can have it. That is the warmest a homeowner gets before they pick up the phone, and it is the whole reason the landing page matters more than the bid.

02

Meta — the people who have not started

Facebook and Instagram reach the homeowner who has not searched anything yet. Nobody scrolls Instagram looking for a heat pump, so the job is different: interrupt well, and give them somewhere worth going. A checker does that far better than a brochure page does.

03

Retargeting the half-finished

Plenty of people start a checker and stop — the phone rings, the kettle boils. Those are the most recoverable people you have, because they have already shown you exactly what they want. Meta is the cheapest way to go back and get them.

04

Your area, not a national spray

Campaigns are built around the patch you actually travel to. An enquiry ninety minutes away is not a win, and we would rather spend the budget twice in your own county.

Straight answers

What we will not tell you.

  • A cost per enquiry

Not before we have seen your trade, your area and your budget. Anyone quoting you one on a first call is quoting an average from somebody else’s business.

  • A guaranteed volume

We do not control how many people search for a heat pump grant in your town this month.

  • That ads fix a weak site

They do not. They send more people to it faster. If the landing page cannot answer the question, paid traffic makes the problem more expensive, not smaller — which is why the checker goes in first.

You keep ownership of the ad accounts and the data. If you leave, they go with you.

FAQ

Ads, answered

Do you sell leads?
No. We build and run campaigns that point at a tool on your own website, so every enquiry it produces came to you and belongs to you alone. Nothing is shared with another installer. That is the whole difference between this and a lead portal.
Do I need a checker before you will run ads?
Not strictly, but it is where almost all of the gain is. Sending paid traffic to a page that cannot answer the question the visitor just searched for is the single most common way installers waste an ad budget. If you would rather start with ads only, say so on the call and we will tell you honestly what we think it will do.
Who owns the ad account?
You do. We work in your Google Ads and Meta accounts, not in an agency account that holds your history hostage. If you stop working with us, the campaigns, the data and the learning stay with you.
What does it cost?
There is a management fee and there is your ad spend, and they are separate — we never take a cut of spend, because that pays us to recommend a bigger budget. The figure depends on your trade, your area and how much you want to spend, so it comes at the end of the call rather than off a price list.
Google or Meta first?
Usually Google, because search intent is already there and you are only competing to be the one who answers it. Meta earns its place once something on your site is worth sending cold traffic to — a checker, a real saving figure, a grant people did not know existed.
Will you take over what I am running now?
We will look at it first and tell you whether it is worth rebuilding or repairing. Plenty of accounts are fine and are just pointed at the wrong page.

Stop paying for clicks
that land on a dead end.

Fifteen minutes. We look at what you are running now, and at the page it points to.
