InstallerHQ
For insulation installers

The hardest one to answer.
So nobody answers it.

Warm Homes: Local Grant has no headline figure — it depends on the property, the household and whether that council is actually running it. Most installer sites therefore say nothing, and every homeowner who wanted to know goes elsewhere to find out.

On the website you already have · from £149/month · no lock-in

GrantCheck is a insulation installer's own website tool. A homeowner enters their postcode, it checks the live 2026 rules against that property, and returns an indicative answer in about thirty seconds — then AnswerHQ books the survey. Every enquiry belongs to the installer alone and is never shared with another company.

Try it

This is your checker.
Put a real postcode in it.

Already set to insulation. Not a video, not a screenshot — the same software your install would get, calling the same live data.

Live government data. Figures are indicative and confirmed at application or survey. On your site it wears your logo and your colours.

What your customers are typing

They are already searching.
Your site just cannot answer.

These are the questions that bring a insulation customer to a website. Every one of them is someone who has decided they want it and is checking whether they can have it.

  • “insulation grant uk 2026”
  • “warm homes local grant am I eligible”
  • “free loft insulation grant”
  • “does my council do the warm homes grant”

Land them on a page that answers the thing they typed, and you are not competing on price. You are the reason they are having the conversation.

The rules, for your trade

Warm Homes: Local Grant

Checked against gov.uk on 30 August 2026 and kept current, so your website is never quoting last year's scheme.

01

Two questions homeowners always merge

Whether the property qualifies, and whether the council is delivering the scheme, are different facts with different answers. Conflating them is how people end up disappointed at the worst moment.

02

EPC D, E, F or G, income usually £36,000 or under

England only. The checker tests the property against the published criteria rather than asking the homeowner to self-assess.

03

It holds the published DESNZ datasets

Currently 254,014 eligible postcodes and 277 participating local authorities — and keeps the two apart, because an eligible property in a non-participating area is still a no.

04

An honest “not yet” still earns the job

A homeowner told plainly which rule they missed does not resent you for it. They remember that your site gave a straight answer when four others gave a form — and plenty of them become customers later.

Pricing

From £149 a month.

GrantCheck on its own is £149. With AnswerHQ answering and booking around the clock it is £199. If you would rather we sent the traffic as well, that is from £895 plus ad spend.

FAQ

Insulation installers, answered

There is no single figure — what does it actually show?
It shows eligibility rather than inventing an amount, because Warm Homes: Local Grant is delivered by councils and there is no national headline number. Pretending otherwise would be the one thing guaranteed to lose you the job later.
How do you know which councils are participating?
From the published DESNZ datasets, held and versioned rather than looked up by hand. When a council joins or leaves, it is changed in one place and every customer’s checker is correct the same day.
What about ECO4 and other schemes?
The rules are configuration rather than code, so additional schemes can be added to your checker. Tell us what you actually install against on the call and we will tell you straight whether we cover it.
Is it worth it if most people do not qualify?
That is exactly why it is worth it. You currently find out who does not qualify by driving to them. The checker does that filtering before it reaches your diary, and still captures the ones who will qualify later.
