Who we are

InstallerHQ provides software and marketing services to UK renewable energy installers. For any data protection question, contact hello@installerhq.co.uk.

What we collect

From installers: the name, business name, email address, phone number and website you give us when you book a call or get in touch.

From your website's visitors: where you use one of our checkers or AnswerHQ on your own site, we process the postcode, property details and contact details a visitor enters, on your behalf and as your processor. That data is yours. We do not sell it, share it with other installers, or use it to market to those homeowners.

From this website: if analytics is enabled, aggregate usage data. No advertising cookies are set without consent.

Why we hold it

To provide the service, to respond to you, and to meet our legal obligations. The lawful bases are performance of a contract and legitimate interests.

How long

Enquiry data for as long as you are a customer plus six years for accounting purposes. Homeowner data captured by your checkers for as long as you ask us to keep it — you can have it deleted at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Sub-processors

We use third parties to host and run the service, including cloud hosting, a booking tool, an email provider and an AI provider for AnswerHQ. TODO: publish the full named list with locations before launch.
