What an EV really costs,
answered on your site.

ChargeCheck is a running-cost estimator for EV charger installers. A homeowner enters their mileage and current car, and it compares what they spend on petrol with what home charging would cost — then the enquiry lands in the installer’s inbox.

What the visitor sees

Thirty seconds, start to finish.

01They enter their mileage

And what they drive now. Two questions.

02It does the maths

Their petrol spend against a real home-charging rate, including an off-peak tariff if they are on one.

03They see the gap

One number, in pounds, for the year. Usually larger than they expect.

04They ask about a charger

Which is the moment you want them, and it hands them straight to you.

Under the bonnet

Why it does not embarrass you.

Anyone can put a form on a website. The difference is what happens at the edges — the property it cannot find, the rule it cannot resolve, the figure it must not show.

01

The only real objection

"Is it actually cheaper?" is what stops EV buyers. Answer it on your site and you have removed the objection before the call.

02

Honest numbers

It uses real tariff rates and real efficiency figures. A charger installer who overstates the saving gets an angry customer six months later.

03

Small job, low friction

A charger is a quick job. The enquiry has to be quick too, or the margin goes on chasing.

What you get

This lands in your inbox.

Not “someone visited your website”. A named person, their property, and what they are actually after — before they have rung anyone else.

FAQ

ChargeCheck, answered

What rates does it use?
Current average petrol and domestic electricity prices, with an option for an off-peak EV tariff. The assumptions are shown to the homeowner rather than buried, because an inflated saving comes back on you.
Does it cover the OZEV grant?
It covers the current position on home charge-point support, which is narrower than most homeowners assume. If they do not qualify, it says so.
Can I use it alongside SolarCheck?
Yes, and most EV installers who also fit solar do. They answer different questions and both sit on the same site.
