InstallerHQ
The honest comparison

Lead sellers sell the same lead
five times. We don't sell leads.

InstallerHQ is software that sits on an installer’s own website and converts the traffic already arriving there. Lead portals like Checkatrade and Bark sell enquiries generated on their platform, usually to several installers at once. The difference is not price — it is who owns the customer and who else is calling them.

Where we are the wrong answer

Three times you should not buy this.

A comparison page that only says good things about itself is worth nothing. Here is when to walk away.

Your site gets no traffic

A checker on a website nobody visits converts nobody. If you are getting under a hundred visitors a month, spend the money on Google Ads first — with us or with anyone.

You are already at capacity

If you cannot fit another install in until spring, more enquiries are an irritation, not an asset. Come back when you are hiring.

You want someone to do the paperwork

We do not do MCS, DNO applications, invoicing or RAMS. If that is the job you need doing, you want a virtual assistant, not us.

FAQ

The questions this raises

Is InstallerHQ cheaper than buying leads?
It depends on your volume, and we will not pretend otherwise. A portal lead for a heat pump can run to £80–£150 and is typically sold to several installers. A flat monthly fee wins once you are getting a handful of enquiries a month from your own site — and unlike a lead, you keep the asset.
Why not just use Checkatrade or Bark?
They are directories with a lead product attached. They send you enquiries that go to your competitors at the same time, on their platform, under their brand, with your rivals advertised beside you. That is a different business from making your own website convert.
What about a marketing agency?
A good one will build you traffic. Very few will build you software that answers a grant question from the EPC register. If you already have an agency, this sits alongside them — most of our installers keep theirs.
What is the honest case for doing nothing?
If your website gets almost no traffic, this is the wrong purchase and ads are the right one. We will say so on the call. A checker on a site nobody visits converts nobody.
